Here we are, back to square one. You may have noticed that our Store is down for some maintenance at the moment. No, there is nothing wrong. It will be available again soon. i have stripped it bare, and am starting from scratch with loads of new inventory and fabulous things!
I have been focusing solely on Women’s Vintage Fashion, with an emphasis on Dresses. Whenever I am out hunting for treasures, I am immediately attracted to the dresses! I used to just pick out the vintage that caught my eye and left the rest behind. No longer will I leave a great dress behind!
I am not going to reveal too much just yet, as I have a lot of work to do before our Store goes live again. I haven’t taken everything down – you can still find over 280 Vintage Pieces in my Etsy Shop (scroll down for the link).
In just a short while, Boutique Threads will be offering more. You will still be able to find a huge selection of Vintage Dresses, but we will also be adding Modern Designer Dresses and Gowns to our collection. In keeping with the ‘Green’ Theme (eco friendly, etc.), everything we carry is previously owned. I do come across many things with tags still attached, so some of the pieces I carry are ‘New’. I believe in reducing, recycling and re-using what I can. By purchasing second hand, you keep items out of the landfill, you contribute to small business, and the demand for production of new goods lessens, helping to save earth’s natural resources from depleting. It’s a win-win situation all around! Not to mention, shopping for designer fashion at reduced prices! We will also be carrying the accessories you need to complete your look.
I am currently drowning in piles of clothing, and am working away behind the scenes. I will be announcing an official launch date soon!
I have created a Facebook Group called Boutique Threads VIP Members. That’s right, once you join, you are a VIP Member! I already have albums stocked with great dresses and gowns. You will be notified first of sales, events and see what I am working on before our site goes live. You are also able to purchase items through the group, and if you are local, you will save 15% if you pick them up yourself. You will see a pinned post on the group page for more information. I am adding new things to the group weekly.
I will be providing updates along the way, and you will be able to shop here again soon! It will be more convenient also, to pay directly with your credit card, without going through PayPal.
